Start with the bottom hull and join the sides to it.

Make the bulges from the sides and attach them.

Attach the top section beginning at the front below the cockpit and work towards the back. 
Before closing the engine flap attach the chin section and the hump on top.

Make the guns and attach them to the defender with the beveled edge on the outside.
