        Preparation

These image(s) should be printed at 300 DPI.  This is set in the image file(s) already,
so you should be able to just print them at 100% using most image viewing/editing software.
The images should be printed onto white 200 gsm A4 or Letter sized card.  Most home printers 
can handle this thickness of card (check your manual), and it provides sturdy, lasting models.

Before cutting out on the solid lines, score along the dotted lines.

Once everything's cut out, do a dry assembly run, and make sure you understand how everything 
will go together.  It's no fun trying to discover how it works while the glue is drying.

(optional) After the dry run, before you glue, color the exposed edges of white card to suit the 
surrounding texture.  This can be done with anything from crayon to paint, use whatever works 
best for you.


        Component Construction

Lid: 
Glue the two faces unprinted-sides together to form the lid, which has a hinge-tab to 
attach it to the base.

Handles:  
For both handles; Fold in half and glue unprinted-sides together, making sure to leave 
the 4 tabs (2 at each end) unglued.  The tabs should be able to fold apart, resulting in 
an I-beam cross-section.  When the faces are glued, fold handle into a U-shape, and 
fold apart the tabs, ready for the unprinted sides to be glued to the base.

Rubbish (optional): 
No special considerations needed.  Just work through the tabs.

Base:  
Glue the front wall inside face to the front wall outside face.
Glue the back wall inside face to the back wall outside face.
Apply glue to either side of one of the back wall tabs, and fold it between the corresponding 
side wall inside and outside panels.  Repeat this for the other back wall tab.  Next, apply glue
to either side of one of the front tabs, and slide it between the corresponding side wall inside 
and outside panels.  Repeat this for the other front tab.


        Assembly:

Glue handles onto sides in indicated positions.  
Glue lid hinge-tab onto back wall of base.
(Optional) Insert rubbish.

Tip: If you use pegs or something similar to hold parts in place while glue dries, it might be easier 
to attach the handles to the base before constructing it.
