BACKGROUND HISTORY
Like all inhabitants of this world, Whisper-of-Vines is a tripartite hybrid—born of humanoid, beast, and monster bloodlines intertwined. Her Verdani tribal ancestry gave her the capacity for communion with living things. Her Mire Serpent beast-blood grants her the patience of a predator and the ability to move unseen through the undergrowth. And her Thornling monster heritage made her uniquely suited to bond with the Bandapa hive-mind.When she wandered into the deep jungle as a child, the Bandapa recognized the Thornling essence within her—a kindred spirit of root and thorn. Rather than consuming her, it embraced her, spending seven years weaving its consciousness with hers in a cocoon of living vines. She emerged transformed: still herself, but now an extension of the vast green will.When Skralk and his brothers became Region Holders, the Bandapa assessed them through Whisper's eyes and found them acceptable. Cunning. Useful. The jungle assigned her to serve them as guide, spy, and living conduit to the territory they now claim.
PERSONALITY/MOTIVATION
Speaks in a soft, sibilant whisper—equal parts rustling leaves and serpent's hiss. Patient beyond human measure, she can wait motionless for hours. Shows emotion rarely, but experiences deep satisfaction when the jungle thrives. Utterly loyal to the Region Holders, whom the Bandapa has accepted. Her three natures sometimes conflict: the Verdani seeks community, the Serpent seeks solitude, and the Thornling seeks only growth.
